Resveratrol has been found to have various cancer-fighting benefits, and other advantages, like weight loss, and possible life extension. A lot of different foods are sources of resveratrol, like cacao, peanuts, and red wine. There are fun and tasty ways to get your daily dose. A proper dosage can mimic the effects of a calorie-restricted diet. To be safe, base your dosage on your weight. For example, a person weighing 150 lbs. would take a little over 330 mg of resveratrol. Also, if you choose to take resveratrol supplements, simply sticking with the recommended dosage will be more than sufficient.

Until we know for sure what resveratrol does to the human body, it’s up to each of us to determine our appropriate dosage. The safest thing to do would be to start out with a small dose, and increase slowly over the span of a few weeks, until you find the best amount for you. Resveratrol, in moderation, can greatly improve your health and well-being.
